Ah moving we shall go!

So we've settled on two apartment complexs. One is the townhouse and another is a 3 bedroom apartment. We also found a house we're going to go look at tonight at 6pm. They're asking $950 on rent, but, they're willing to go to $750 "if they like us and thing we'll be good renters". *rolling eyes* $750 would be great for a house! I hope they like us. I mean, what's not to like? We're a quiet little family. Most of the time....
So since we are for sure moving, i'm having a moving sale this weekend to get rid of a lot of junk we have. Plus Kota's grandma is getting him a walker for Christmas. Just what we need. A baby flying around the house knocking crap over, lol! So i'm selling a lot of the breakable knick-knacks we have.
I think Kota needs a hair cut. Poor baby's hair is starting to get really long, and it hangs down in his eyes.

That's after a bath. I "spiked" his hair, haha!

Husbands are dumb.

So hubby did something that really pissed me off last night. When he got home from work, we had dinner, then I asked what time he wanted to go view the townhouse. He said he doesn't want to. He said that there is no where for him to put his TOOLS. I said "But it's cheaper, and bigger, and has a pool and playground all this other awesome crap" but he still said there is no where to put his tools. I said there is a porch and a storage thingy outside. But he said he wants a garage.
I got pissed. I told him that the tools can stay with his parents, right down the road. This place is bigger and cheaper and better than our piece of shit house. It'd be better for all of us, especially the baby. He told me to stop trying to make him feel guilty because it wasn't going to work. He should fucking feel guilty! All he's worried about is his tools! He'd rather stay in some piece of shit tiny house so his tools can sit safely in a shed, than live in a bigger, cheaper home with a pool and a playground and a gym. I don't get it. I really don't fucking get it. I told him that was ridiculous and he needed to start thinking about his FAMILY instead of the goddamned tools. He got up and left the room and wouldn't talk to me.
Whatever.
We never did go view the townhouse.

And theeeeen........
I get out of the shower and he's on my laptop. He has his own computer. I ask him why the fuck he's on mine. And guess what he's doing? He's applying for a loan. A fucking $60,000 loan to BUY a house. He went in my purse and got my social security number to get it as a "join loan" or whatever. OMG did that piss me off even more.
He said he figured it would make me happy if we got the loan. Yeah, whatever, it'd be fan-fucking-tastic, but he didn't need to go through my shit to get my SSN! He could of just asked!
I asked him if that meant he found a house he liked (because so far, all the houses we find, he just has to find a problem with it) and he said no, we'd worry about that later if we're approved.

Gah. We're never going to move.

But I did learn that my credit score is better than his.
Nanner nanner! :-D

Anyway.
I'm taking a bunch of clothes and purses I never wear to Plato's closet so I can get some new shirts. And maybe some winter wear. And shoes, of course. I'm obviously thinking that they're going to give me a ton of money for this crap i'm bringing in. But in reality, I think the most I ever got was $20. You could bring in a never worn Juicy Couture track suit, 5 coach bags and Prada shades and they'll tell you they can give you $30 for all of it. Then turn around and make $300 off the crap they just paid you $30 for. Whatever.
But since hubby says right now he can't afford to buy me wintery clothes, i'll take whatever I can get. Because right now, for once, it's like 60 degrees outside. *gasp*
Plus I need some retail therapy. It's been a while.

Maybe I should go exercise...

.... NOT!

Looks can deceive!

OMG we are so disappointed in the inside of the house. The outside was beautiful, but the inside was a mess. The layout of the house was really weird. The walls were cracked from the ceiling to the floor, paint chipping and peeling everywhere. The only nice thing was the new cabinets and granite counter tops in the kitchen. The appliances were straight outta the 50's! The "third bedroom" was a closed in carport, that was constructed HORRIBLY! It looked like it was about to fall apart. It was so disappointing. The guy from Remax talked about the house like it was the fuckin' Don Cesar. We would of spent thousands of dollars just getting the house in livable condition.

Gah.

Here we go!

So at 5:30pm today we're going to go view the house again and finally talk to the realtor about putting in our offer for the house and getting a loan approved with the bank. I'm so excited! Hopefully we'll be approved. I've been thinking good thoughts all day, haha! Everyone who reads this, send good vibes my way!! Mason just got off work and is heading home to get ready to go and then we're heading out! Baby is napping right now, which is good, hopefully he won't be crabby while we're there.

I'll update you later tonight on how things go!! :-D

Update of the weekend!

Friday night we went to a carshow at Dairy Queen. They had a couple cars decorated for Halloween. There was a black VW Beetle that they put huge spider legs on. It was so cute! Kota wore his cute Halloween onesie. :)

Saturday was Halloween! Kota was in his pumpkin costume looking cute as usual. ♥

We had lots of trick or treaters! I made 30 treat bags and they were all gone in about 10 minutes! We actually had to break out our own stash of candy we were keeping for ourselves! Around 10, after all the kids were gone, we went to Taco Bell and got the free Black Jack Taco. It was so good!

Saturday morning we went to look at another house. Except this one was for sale. It's valued at $100,000. But it's in foreclosure, so it's being sold for $50,000. So tomorrow, Monday, we're meeting with the relator and the bank to see if we can get approved for a loan for the house. We LOVE this house. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1200 sq ft, HUGE back yard! Pool! Love, love, LOVE this house! Hopefully we'll get approved for the loan. If not, Mason said he could take the money out of his 401K for a down payment.

I took pics while we were there....

Nomz & Houses

Mason found these crackers at Walmart called Baby Mum-Mum. He was reading the box and it said you can start to give baby the crackers when he starts to eat solid foods and showing interest in his hands. Since Kota likes to eat solids, and whatever he gets a hold of always goes into his mouth, might as well get him something he can hold and eat.

They're veggie flavored. He likes it! First fingerfood = SUCCESS! :-D

We looked at a house yesterday. You know those neighborhoods you drive by and say "Man, i'm going to live in there one day!" because they have all these nice houses you can only dream of owning? Yeah, it was one of those. It was AH-MA-ZING!

Cathedral ceilings, backs up to nature preserve, wood and tile floors, split bedroom floor plan, new roof, A/C!! OMG HUGE CLOSET!!! Huge bedrooms!! Over 2000 sq ft!!! BEAUTIFUL BACKYARD!!!

It was rent to own. But we would need to put down an $8000 deposit, which we don't have. I even asked my dad if we could borrow the money, he said "Try to find some place cheaper". Blah. I don't want some place cheaper, I want THAT house!!! We could have that house if we could just get our paws on $8000!!

Whats funny is, earlier that day, we checked out another house we were interested in renting. It didn't look too bad online. But then we got to the neighborhood and it was a whole 'nother story! NOT a good area! We talked to the guy who lived across the street and he told us that you really have to watch it because your stuff will "grow legs and walk off on you". Great....
The house wasn't even close to the pics we saw online:

The front of it looked okay. But inside was a disaster. The floor was disgusting, tiles were ripped up and broken. There was garbage everywhere. The windows on the side of the house were broken. The garage on the side/back part of the house was full of junk that the other renter left there. It was a joke. That picture of the inside of the house looks nothing like it does in real life.

I get the feeling we're never going to find a new house!
