A very merry un-birthday, to me!

I feel like such an old fart. I'm now 24 years old. Sunday was my birthday. w00t?

My mom watched the little man while Mason and I went to the mall. I got new glasses, woohoo! We went to Lens Crafters and I picked out this really cute pair of pink glasses with sparkly rhinestones. I know, sounds tacky right? But they are so fucking awesome. After I pick the up i'll show you guys. They're friggin' sweet. :-D

I got my first Ed Hardy shirt. I know, I know, again, sounds tacky. But I thought it was so cute and I had to have it! I finally got a pair of stiletto boots too. I've wanted a pair since forever. I got a few other shirts too. So my birthday was pretty decent. My parents got me a chocolate fudge cake. So good!



In other news...


Today I got a text message from a 503 area code. It started out normal then got weird...

503: Ryan who are you
me: Amy, I think you have the wrong number
503: how old are you?
me: 24. again, you have the wrong number, bye.
503: cool wanna text chat?
me: wtf no i'm blocking you now

and then I blocked his number. It was weird. I've never 'gotten the wrong number' when texting. And even if I did, I don't think i'd try to make friends with the person, or flirt with them or whatever. I'm glad my phone has the block feature. I'm not really up to seeing what else Mr "Ryan" had to say...

New pants!

I went to Ross and got two pairs of pants the other day. Both Levi's. I've never owned Levi's. I love them, I should of been buying this brand years ago!! I'm happy that I now have pants that actually fit, instead of my pre-pregnancy pants! w00t!

We get to have two Thanksgivings on Thursday! We're going out with my family to celebrate, then we're heading to Spring Hill to go to Mason's aunts house. We always have fun up there. :) The only problem is we may have to drive his mom and grandma back to Tampa with us, which I really, REALLY don't want to do. We would just spend the weekend up there, but we're tiling the kitchen counter and putting insulation in the attic. We've already done half of the counter, and it looks fabulous! It's beautiful black tile! I'll post pics when it's done!!

OMG soon Kota will be 6 months old. SIX FREAKIN MONTHS OLD!! That's halfway to a year!! I can't believe it's been that long already!

Stupid debit card. Stupid Taco Bell!

So I got a call yesterday evening from the library telling me my books were over-due. So today I took them back. On the drive home I passed by a salon/spa that does waxing. So I did a quick U-ie and went to get my brow's waxed! :) After a lovely (and painful) wax, I whip out my debit card to pay. The lady tells me they only take credit. I said she could run it as credit and it'd work too. So after about 10 swipes, she tells me my card is being declined. AHHHHH!!! So I give her my car keys and run across the street to a Micky D's to use their ATM.

OUT OF ORDER!

FUCK! So I bought a vanilla iced coffee and got $40 cash back. Go pay the waxer lady and go on my way.

Next stop was Taco Bell because I was hungry. Duh. I get a chicken burrito and a large diet Pepsi. Go through the drive-thru, hand the lady my debit card. DECLINED. Again! So I pay with cash.

Munchin on my burrito as I pull into Wallyworld. Head to their ATM, pull out $40 (so I don't look like an asshat at the register if my card is declined again) and get what I came for. Which was:

So I get home, log on to my bank's website to check my balance and make sure I haven't over drafted or anything. It says I still have $101 in my account, and it shows all the transactions I made today (McDonalds and the ATM at Walmart).

Stupid freakin waxer lady and Taco Bell! I wonder why my card wouldn't work there? Grrr... Makin' me look like an asshat. :-/

$Cha-Ching!$

Alrighty people, I did something I don't get to do very often. It's something I think everyone should do once a month (if possible)...

SHOP! For yourself! I mean balls to the wall, see it. want it. buy it. SHOPPING!

It feels so good. I needed to get that out of my system. Ok, now that i'm back to broke, i'll be good for another month. Maybe.

But, I did get two things I swore i'd never buy.

1. A plaid shirt. Can we say 'redneck chic'? I always made fun of those shirts. But I found one that was uber cute.

2. Leggings. Another thing I hated! Till I bought a shirt/dress a few weeks ago that would look perfect with leggings. So now I own some.

My first stop was good 'ol Walmart! I hit the clearance rack and the makeup section! I got my leggings from Walmart (Miley Cyrus brand, hahaha)

My "bat wing" sweater type thingy. I'm not really sure the actual name for those kinds of sleeves, but they remind me a bat wings, so i'm going with that. :-P


Grey pants, straight leg. I bought them in Khaki too. All of my pre-pregnancy jeans were too big, so I tried on a pair that were two sizes smaller than I used to wear. They fit. W00t!! So I bought two pairs! :) When I got home I put them on and as I was walking around the house, they started to fall down. Maybe I need a smaller size, still? ;)


3 things from Hard Candy: a lipstick, a colored lipgloss that came with a free lipliner, mascara and Cover Girl eyeliner. I've tried both the lipsticks and they are both AWESOME! Plus I love the tube!





And then, at the mall, Charlotte Russe was havinga $4.99 clearance sale. So I got...

And my last stop was the custom ornament kiosk in the mall! Mason and I got one made in 2006 when we first got together. I figured, since we have a little family now, it was time to get another one. So i'm going to surprise him with it once we put up our tree! :)




Oh, and I have like, the best news EVAR! We don't have to move!!!!!!!!!!! The landlord agreed to lower our rent to $750!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!! No apartment living for us!! :-D

So I took my stuff to Plato's Closet. I got $32. Not even worth half of what I paid for the stuff I gave. But whatever. I need winter clothes. So what did I get?

Not winter clothes! Ok, maybe one sweater type thing, but no jackets or long sleeved shirts. Not even any shoes! I just couldn't find any I like!

But I did get 4 really cute shirts! :-D

I was at The Closet for about an hour. Kota started to get crabby so I decided it was time to leave. I still have $13 in my pocket and I really want to go tanning, but my car is running on fumes (aka the gas light is on and i'm on E). So, gas up my car? Or go get myself bronze?

I'll probably put gas in my car. Only because I don't think I could make it to the tanning salon and back with whats in my gas tank, haha!

Husbands are dumb.

So hubby did something that really pissed me off last night. When he got home from work, we had dinner, then I asked what time he wanted to go view the townhouse. He said he doesn't want to. He said that there is no where for him to put his TOOLS. I said "But it's cheaper, and bigger, and has a pool and playground all this other awesome crap" but he still said there is no where to put his tools. I said there is a porch and a storage thingy outside. But he said he wants a garage.

I got pissed. I told him that the tools can stay with his parents, right down the road. This place is bigger and cheaper and better than our piece of shit house. It'd be better for all of us, especially the baby. He told me to stop trying to make him feel guilty because it wasn't going to work. He should fucking feel guilty! All he's worried about is his tools! He'd rather stay in some piece of shit tiny house so his tools can sit safely in a shed, than live in a bigger, cheaper home with a pool and a playground and a gym. I don't get it. I really don't fucking get it. I told him that was ridiculous and he needed to start thinking about his FAMILY instead of the goddamned tools. He got up and left the room and wouldn't talk to me.

Whatever.

We never did go view the townhouse.

And theeeeen........

I get out of the shower and he's on my laptop. He has his own computer. I ask him why the fuck he's on mine. And guess what he's doing? He's applying for a loan. A fucking $60,000 loan to BUY a house. He went in my purse and got my social security number to get it as a "join loan" or whatever. OMG did that piss me off even more.

He said he figured it would make me happy if we got the loan. Yeah, whatever, it'd be fan-fucking-tastic, but he didn't need to go through my shit to get my SSN! He could of just asked!

I asked him if that meant he found a house he liked (because so far, all the houses we find, he just has to find a problem with it) and he said no, we'd worry about that later if we're approved.

Gah. We're never going to move.

But I did learn that my credit score is better than his.

Nanner nanner! :-D

Anyway.

I'm taking a bunch of clothes and purses I never wear to Plato's closet so I can get some new shirts. And maybe some winter wear. And shoes, of course. I'm obviously thinking that they're going to give me a ton of money for this crap i'm bringing in. But in reality, I think the most I ever got was $20. You could bring in a never worn Juicy Couture track suit, 5 coach bags and Prada shades and they'll tell you they can give you $30 for all of it. Then turn around and make $300 off the crap they just paid you $30 for. Whatever.

But since hubby says right now he can't afford to buy me wintery clothes, i'll take whatever I can get. Because right now, for once, it's like 60 degrees outside. *gasp*

Plus I need some retail therapy. It's been a while.

Maybe I should go exercise...

Tonight we're going to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. Kota will be at grandma's while we're gone.

I went to Wallyworld and got my flu shot. Lucky me?

Also while I was at Wallyworld I picked up a few goodies...

I'm painting my nails black for tonight. I just did the face mask and my face feels so smooth now!!

The hardcandy eyeshadow is awesome. At least, the packaging is... I haven't actually tried it yet. But I love the designed on the tube. The color I got is called Pixie and it's a pretty pink color.

I'm going to try it tonight. I've never tried this brand of makeup. I figure if it smudges or creases no one will really see it since we'll be in dark haunted houses 80% of the time.
